Wonder if what happens in the States is a shadow of things to come in the UK.  Prom is relatively recent here - probably the last ten or twenty years - so we don&#039;t have the &quot;horror&quot; stories about what can go wrong circulating yet.
I guess that our schools are also much smaller, so proms are an entirely different kind of affair anyway.</description>
